Paper Submission


Submissions must describe substantial, original, completed and unpublished work. Wherever appropriate, concrete evaluation and analysis should be included. Submissions will be judged on correctness, originality, technical strength, significance, relevance to the conference, and interest to the attendees. Each submission will be reviewed by at least three program committee members. Accepted papers will be presented in one of the oral sessions or poster sessions as determined by the program committee.

All submissions must be electronic and in Portable Document Format (PDF) only. Paper submissions should follow the CPS Proceedings’ two-column format without exceeding eight (8) pages including figures and references. We strongly recommend the use of the LaTeX style files or Microsoft Word style files according to CPS Proceedings’ format. Submissions must confirm to the official style guidelines.

The official language of the conference is English. Papers submitted should be written in English.

Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for uploading to the IEEE Xplore® digital library, which will be indexed by SCOPUS, EI Compendex, ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index, and major databases.

Congratulations on having your paper accepted for publication in the proceedings of 2018 International Conference on Orange Technologies (ICOT). Two items are required to be submitted for each accepted paper: The IEEE Xplore compliant camera-ready version of your manuscript and the corresponding Copyright Transfer Form. COMPLETE THESE TWO STEPS BY OCTOBER 15, 2018.

Accepted papers are required to be IEEE Xplore compliant since they will be indexed and published online on IEEE Xplore. As requested by IEEE, your manuscript must be verified by IEEE PDF eXpress Plus system. Therefore, the camera-ready paper will be submitted through IEEE PDF eXpress Plus system.

To verify and submit your paper in PDF, please follow the below steps :

  1. Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus site
  2. Create an account with our Conference ID: 45001X
  3. Upload your camera-ready paper for verification. To facilitate processing, please use the naming convention: PaperID.pdf. The PaperID should be the original ID number assigned to you when you submitted to CMT Microsoft system. It should be a number which is smaller than 200, not the sequence number assigned by IEEE PDF eXpress Plus.
  4. The result will be sent to you by e-mail.
  5. Once the PDF file passes the verification, please send the result file from your e-mail to
  6. You are allowed to revise your camera-ready submission anytime before the deadline, however, please repeat Step 1 to Step 5 again.


To include the paper into IEEE Xplore, authors are required to submit the Copyright Transfer Form to IEEE. Please fill in the below table and then click on the “Submit” button. You will be directed to the IEEE copyright server, which will guide you to complete the necessary steps of submitting your copyright agreement. The Paper ID should be a number under 200, originally assigned to your paper. For verification purpose, please download the form generated at the end of the process and send it to
